The nature of stained glass...
Each piece is slightly different: the way the light reflects off the surface, the variations in color, the irregularities inherent in the glass...it suggests the form that each piece of jewelry will become. The addition of twisted and formed wire, sometimes with beads or stones, suggests movement and a touch of whimsy.

Designing stained glass jewelry is a process of discovery and although some pieces are similar, they are always unique unto themselves.

I've been working with stained glass for over 30 years. Although I spent much of that time with larger, more traditional stained glass forms, I've been excited to uncover a way to use the beautiful colors in a medium that I find much more personal -- jewelry that woman can wear to make a statement about their mood and display a little bit of their uniqueness.

I hope you enjoy wearing my creations as much as I enjoy creating them.
